GA1 Anamix Junior

GA1 Anamix Junior is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. GA1 Anamix Junior is a lysine free, low tryptophan powder drink mix containing a balanced mixture of the other essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrate, fat (including docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fibre.

Store unopened product in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, reseal can and use within 2 weeks. Always replace contained lid after use. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.

For enteral use only. Must be used under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Suitable for children aged 1-10 years. Only intended for use by individuals with glutaric aciduria type L. The product should not be used as a sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with natural protein and other nutrients to supply the lysine, tryptophan, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient in medically prescribed quantities.

THE HEALTH OF THE PATIENT DEPENDS ON CAREFULLY FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE.

  1. Wash your hands, clean all utensils.
  2. Measure the required amount of cold water into a container and add the prescribed quantity of powder.
  3. Cover and shake the product until the powder has dissolved.
  4. Once reconstituted, refrigerate and consume within 24 hrs.
  5. Shake or stir the product immediately before use.

If given orally, best served chilled.

Breast milk is the best option for babies
